National Centre for the Performing Arts
National Centre for the Performing Arts ( NCPA ), colloquially called " Egg " because of its shape. It is located west of
Tiananmen Square and Great Hall of the People and is located near the Forbidden City. It is a modern design, but background in
historic buildings that surround it. It was designed by French architect Paul Andreu : the emergence of the center was ellipsoid
dome of titanium and glass accent ; dome is completely surrounded by an artificial lake that looks like an egg on the water.
Dome 212 m from east to west and 144 meters north-south direction and 46 m in height. The main entrance is on the north side and
there are 3 large bedrooms inside the event : Opera Hall is used for opera, ballet and dance, a concert hall for a large symphony
and national music / folk and the public theater and Peking Opera.
Because open to use, has received many groups world-class performance and become a platform for exchange of international art.

Yuan Ming Yuan Park
Yuan Ming Yuan Park, north - west of Beijing , called the Old Summer Palace , but have been nicer and more. It was called " Garden of all gardens in the world " as we know . It was a masterpiece of royal gardens , but today could not be considered abandoned ruins for what she has suffered two fire depths and fly each of the Anglo- French troops in 1860 and the allied forces of the eight powers in 1900.
Yuan Ming Yuan Park covers a total area of ??160,000 square meters , 10,000 square meters of architecture more than the Forbidden City. Construction began in 1709 under the reign of Emperor Kangxi and completed 150 years later. Park was characterized by elegant Chinese garden settings : 200 artificial mountain with stones professionally landscaped , rocks and deep valleys , sections of ponds and lakes. Surface water occupies half of the park .
Yuan Ming Yuan Park garden was no match in the world and was praised by Emperor Qianlong as a place where God dwells in heaven. This human tragedy of great architecture was destroyed. At the direction of Premier Zhou Enlai , the park was opened to the public , to remind the Chinese and world history . Today , more and more tourists come to visit and most feel a deep sadness , mourning its brilliant history .
